I can say, without shade of doubt, this silly tycoon game from 2003 had bigger influence on me than any of the Jurassic Park films. I spent hours digging up fossils and creating the park.
@Sketchy_raptor I always appreciate token effort taken in Marvels Runaways. Far from perfect. At least not a direct copy of JP.
Caviramus - one of numerous, stunning Late Triassic basal pterosaurs. #sciart #myart #palaeoart
Dinner-time colour flats. Work in progress of highly eclectic Caviramus! Elaborate crests, bumpy maxilla, long appendages ... real funky. Might wrap it up later this week. Also, hello to new followers, cheers for helping me hit 900!
I might do a non-pterodactyloid-pterosaur-a-week drawing challenge. So I can create a big composite stack. Which one should I draw next? (also, do feel free to bash on my work - technique, style and accuracy)(I need some constructive criticism to take in with every drawing)
And here is the second basal pterosaur - like anyone, I don't think I wrapped my head around their terrestrial locomotion.
It's the ptero from that quick piece I did yesterday - and he's carrying a squid - because squid paper.
More fun with Paint3D - simple character design - from sketch to quick model. (I am not - by any means - inspired by therapod anatomy)
