We revisited Kanto in Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green. The updated GBA sound font allowed the classic theme to be revamped with its oh-so-glorious trumpets while staying true to the original. It added a bit of well needed flare! https://t.co/tvmLmpQI65

The 3rd Gen was played on advanced hardware. Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and later, Emerald, once again remixed the main theme. After a beautiful intro, the title theme blares its glorious trumpets backed by a piano. It even added a bridge and a unique ending! https://t.co/ueXogDAyzz

Pokémon Crystal opens up mysteriously quiet, only the sounds of Unown pulsating being heard. It isn't until Suicune is revealed that the music ramps up. This envigorates excitement, that is masterfully transitioned into the remixed title theme. https://t.co/2iYndoBopn

The second Generation was co-composed by Mr. Ichinose. Pokémon Gold and Silver remixes the title theme of Gen 1, added beautiful translations, and has an intro unique to it. It begins happy, before the thrill of what's ahead makes itself apparent. https://t.co/uPNZMPQoAc

Pokémon Red, Blue and Green were the first games in the series. They offered the basic structure of the title theme. The Game Boy only played 4 sounds at once, but Mr. Masuda played around this to convey a greater sense of adventure. https://t.co/cls6q6ABdI
