Like all his work, the narrative is introspective and beautiful. I had a crush on this John Silver (and still do)

I have a lot of feelings on this series lol.

The Little Norse Prince (or alternatively- The Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun)
I just love the vibes of the movie. Tiny quiet gremlin boy saving the world through his courage and determination. The story elements and artstyle are how I envision a Zelda 1 movie to be like.

It's one of those movies that occasionally pop up in my head and I find myself accidentally watching the movie all over again (youtube clips lol) the train scene haunted me since childhood and still does.

AMAZING soundtrack. Beautiful animation. Wonderful story & action

Ie Naki Ko Remi (the 1977 version)
This is PACKED with heart wrenching drama, fluff, angst, very soft romance, and a good dose of adventure. Plus beautiful narration! The narrator tells the story as if reading a novel (It IS based on a novel) and the scenes play out along with it

Ashita no Joe!!! It's a lengthy story, but the character development is fantastic. I'm not into sports anime, but this one really pulled me in. I especially love Season 2's dive into philosophy and psychology, and how Joe's mental health affected him beyond his sports performance

this nicely translates to animal village in Link's awakening. They all love Marin's music.

As soon as you find out it's a dream, you can find so many connection from this Link's first adventure.
