Since your jaw is on a hinge, the back morals won't move much when the mouth starts to close. Use this as a point to figure out how to animate it closing.

When closed, you'll see far less of your tongue and more of your front teeth. They will look similar to your upper teeth

By far the hardest part is figuring out depth. I find it is easier to start with the mouth open, and work backwards.

When the mouth opens, you'll see more of your tongue and your teeth will make more of a crescent. You can mess around with everything till it looks right.

When you talk, your top teeth don't move, it is all your lower jaw.

When your mouth is closed all your teeth are nicely aligned (if you desire), but when you open your mouth your jaw is on a hinge.

It doesn't move straight down.

Then I use them as guides to make my "extremes".

A thing to note when it comes to rigging (On 2nd Image). Your most frequent mouth forms will fall in this circle, it's why we let the corners look so extreme since they will be scene less likely.

From there I did the three most important measurements.

The "Tallest" she could open her mouth
The "Widest" she could stretch her mouth
and the "Skinniest" she could squeeze her mouth.

The Tongue, Tongue Ring and Bottom lip's shines are separated, but I don't think that will be necessary, it's mainly for physics.

As for the teeth I did it this way for better X and Y angles, it also helps with mouth open.
