Question, at first glance, grandma's face, does it register?

Art Notes: It snows a LOT over here, and it's pretty dreary, but I can imagine all the deer and snowy owls having a blast. Here's the concept sketch I painted with gouache before deciding that a digital painting would be best for the concept.
