Can't talk about the King's rivals without talking about the King himself!
Big and bad? Sure, sure. But most importantly, he's a genuine, heartfelt guy- he really is a sweetheart that cares about his friends! His spiked bands are cute and I would like a hug (& a kiss)

Squash and stretch, exaggerated emotion, comical pain, untied shoelaces, spaghetti limbs- some very masterful, cute toony mugging! He’s neat in general, but I think he is particularly cute in these 2D styles- a lot of charm and actual (adorable) coolness!
