Everytime that lunchroom conversation hit over what TV network was our childhood favorite, there was a lot of TV networks putting on heat but the number one reason I always chose Cartoon Network was because they had Toonami.

When something that you already hold in such high regard is somehow surpassed on a rewatch or reread, no matter how many times it's been, it's a beautiful feeling.

One of the best examples I have of this is MGS 2. I know this entire franchise front to back with multiple playthroughs throughout the years.

A recent playthrough of this game took it from being my 2nd least fav MGS game to one of my favorite pieces of media of all time.

Haven't been able to stop thinking about just how insane the final few chapters of Wano could be after this week's chapter.

A crazy post transformation fighting sequence, a Kaido/Rocks Flashback, Marineford level climax AND the craziest post arc to this point.

They’ve never let me down no matter the storytelling medium 😩

Even after all of those incredible experiences, my favorite arc, episode, life lesson and season are still at the very top of their respective all time lists.

It’s a really special series and I’m glad it’s gotten the recognition that it rightfully deserves.
