Ok NOW i'll get to backgrounds, just enjoying tinkering with this thing
Wanted to see if i could scale it down, and along the way made some changes to make it more disitnct, like by making the "wings" actually weird crab leg-esque things!
Went from 44 to 35 tiles
Tryna find palletes for Dungeons And Dragons: Shadow over Mystara, and i am IN LOVE with the art
Finding the palletes is helping me appreciate the intricacies of old school tiles! The divide between palletes is practically invisible, really helps the arts polish!
Had to learn how SF2 loads sprites to get this in-game, but managed to figure it out
Turns out SF2 basically loads tiles one after the other in vertical strips, starting from the top front of the sprite, reading about 4 tiles down, then the tiles behind it, and so on, afaik
Was gonna put SF6 Chun Li in to Super Turbo as well, but tbh to properly display it would involve finding the sprite pointers, then the tiledef then the tilemap. Maybe later today but for now, here's the sprite. The left is organised the same as Chuns original idle
Some minor adjustments and all the default Super Turbo palletes on it for fun :p
Cheers to @yahyanass_art for some criticism
