@ShrineMaidenNet In regards to the Yashahime portion of our discussion, as I told @kely_chan , Kirinmaru's true form is that of a Kirin, a Chinese mythological creature who is a chimera of a dragon and an equine creature: either a horse, deer or ox. I so wish Kirinmaru's true form was animated.

This is a good summary of the discussion I had with @kely_chan last night in @ShrineMaidenNet 's twitter space about episodes 22-23 of Inuyasha. Indeed this seems to be the true contribution of Kagome's character. XD

@monkey64561361 @Percival9575 agrees with you. I don't mind the good vs evil story if it's done good, like Sengoku Saga or Dragon Saga. But it is indeed overdone, sadly. I think the reason is because they kind of want to tie the background story with the anime.

I'd kill for an AU where these two had a normal life in the modern era. Their chemistry would be awesome.
