Also wanna take a moment to appreciate Daigo's art for the series. He really captured the fun energy of the games.

Just some more examples. I think I just really love Bengus' old style.

I actually really like 3's style but that's always the problem I've had when talking about DS' art style because it's gotta capture the series' tone. I think the OVA does a fantastic job in recreating it tho.

feel like DS3's style pales in comparison to the first two game's art. It's definitely not bad but DS just has a very specific aesthetic to it
