Sikh royal history is no doubt filled with the spoiled & the sycophantic — but also includes many decent rulers and a select few who worked as leaders in the Sikh community. These would probably be my favorites (so far):
Ranjit Singh
Bikram Singh
Ripudaman Singh
Yadavindra Singh
The Dasam Granth actually had quite a central place in Sikh practice. Historically, its parkash was even done side-by-side with the Guru Granth Sahib (although with a smaller palanquin, to denote it wasn't the Guru). This was phased out by reformists (other than Hazur Sahib). https://t.co/j1P1V8MzbV
