Yuuko the cute little race car driver !!! 🏁

I spent all day doing this. I think this is the best thing I've ever drawn, despite the hand not being perfect at all.

The helmet is inspired by former NASCAR Cup driver & 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton.

Why do I like Yuuko so much?

Because she's a cool, funny and cheerful little angel doing her best.

What's not to like about her character?

As someone once said, we need more appreciation for Mai, and I agree.

Though she may not be on my top 5 characters, Mai's a great character. Despite her waaay over-the-top pranks, I don't think she means badly at all. She is overall a great friend to Yuuko, Mio and Nano. 🙂

Another recolored manga Yuuko !

The orignal panel had no blush, so for the sake of extra cuteness, I made a variant where I added blush. I think it came out really well, though I struggled at the end.

I just HAD to do this panel. Has to be my favorite panel of her from the Nichijou manga. It's a (huge) shame it never got animated.

Here's a revision of my Yuuko drawing from earlier.

Very minor changes. See if you can spot them.

Basically, this is the FINAL final version of the drawing. Either way, I'm proud of what I accomplished. Next time (?), I'll try to draw more than her head.

My Yuuko drawing is finally done !

I have never completed an anime drawing before that, this is my first time. I went to great lengths to reproduce the anime's artstyle and somehow I completely nailed it !! I'm very proud of the end result.

I find this smug Yuuko to be pretty hilarious.

Another recolored manga Mio. MASSIVE improvement from the one I did this morning. I really tried hard on this one.

I think this more than makes up from the mediocre recolor I did earlier. :)
