Finished the first issue of Rise of Ultraman.

It's okay. It has the fanservice and nods you would expect and I'm curious in seeing where it goes, though I wish the first story went on a little longer. The artwork is colorful and appealing, though there could be more content.

It's 3am and I can't stop laughing at this. This whole misguided project is summarized in one picture, it's unreal that this game exists. A game where the marketing and an intro cinematic show beloved video game mascot Sonic the Hedgehog about to get a bullet through his head.

I can't get over how Athena's art style went from anime cheesecake --> badass (but a misrepresentation of the product) --> getting a door slammed in her face repeatedly.
