Ok, I think I'm done with normals.
Here a raw render and a quickly gimp edited one. It will be easier with a tablet!

I think I've to work on the lines a lot and I've to play with the normals but I think I'm done with materials ^^

I think the material for the shoulder pads is fine now ^^

Currently working on cel shading. Not easy ^^
