I drafted how the level would be laid out and navigated to better understand how to implement it with Maya and Unreal. The goal was to tell the story while pacing it properly. Using bends in the paths and occlusion helped with that.

Accompanying the mural from the fan art are 4 statues of the Vanir gods that roamed these lands. This was inspired by a suggestion from my friend @GunnyWaffle who recommended me to destroy the bridge with a pillar. I used a statue instead!

Translating concept art to 3D was an extremely enjoyable experience. I learned how to develop many variants of a concept, using only the few that worked best. I had many ideas I wanted to do and this helped!
