It's #InternationalDogDay, and no dog is more international than the globetrotting hero of my first picture book, Homer Henry Hudson! Well, maybe Snowy from the Tintin books. But my dog is better dressed. Here's some of the earliest sketches of my rough ruffed roving rover.

The finished designs I create for @LanternPress's Geometric series tend to be complex arrangements of animals in their natural habitat. But I almost prefer just seeing the individual animals. Here's a handful of birds from the hundreds of animals I've rendered for the series.

I usually don't dress up for Halloween. But if I could get ahold of a Lucha Libre mask like this one I designed for Día de Muertos, I'd make an exception. Illustrated for @LanternPress.
