I only seen a handful of She-Ra, but I remember people (probably a vocal minority) complaining about the character designs.

Honestly, which of the designs give much more of "who this is" to you? (Completely ignore the right, judging the character by the left, then switch after)

Odele is a power-hungry and pervy Siren Puffer who once had a large rule, with her Disco-like melodies and moves. Over time, she's lost her rule, becoming TOO careless about her melodies; once losing all she’s acquired, she went through trial and error to restart it.

Merrit is a knowledgeable and egotistical Siamese Fighting Fish with regeneration abilities. Her body has been incapable of aging and dying as a result. She grew up in a family of freebooters up until their deaths where she was left to adventure through Thelassia on her own.

Ora is a deaf and neurotic Angler fish with Clairvoyance abilities, raised in a more hostile and unknown environment known as the Abyss. She's long since ran away from her abusive environment and upbringing to start a new life above and has became close friends with Cala.
