Same time as the Blu&Ruby stuff i also made pixelart of some of @VermelhaFormiga 's characters, but never publicly posted it. Outdated i think but idc im trying to empty my old-art vault

I think thats all the sprites so.. now for some sketches of the characters. Heres Blu. Including an old Rye design + very smudged hand. His proportions changed over time so they kinda switch between drawings.

Also here r some other stuff- old Blu sprites & some graffiti-type stuff? Anyway the game was heavily inspired by the Mario & Luigi series, as i wish there were more of those games. Blu&Ruby was planned to mostly focus on platforming/exploration though.

A lot of my other characters were originally planned to be enemies in this too, couldnt find most of their sprites but heres some old art of them. I think the egghead was like the goomba of the game.

Then theres Ruby. Idk if theyre friends or if theyre related, i never really considered it tbh. Her personality was slightly more serious and grounded, and her design was more inspired by knuckles. The thing on her back is hair but it looks like spikes because shes designed weird https://t.co/Xy4bjsFHd8
