"fish" none of them are based on real fish lol. first time playing with water colors in probably 12 years. painted this while visiting my friend at the beach, all she had were pens and water colors. i think it turned out kinda neat, i let her keep it

@TBartels1 i continued to mess with her proportions, height and basic features. she's gotten a bit more toned as my designs have evolved, but she's always been one of the shortest characters in the main cast

@TBartels1 it was tricky to find the right balance of this style. i wanted her to look androgynous, but not too weird looking to be taken seriously. sometimes i would try showing the shaved stubble, eventually i leaned into a more smooth streamlined Dragon Ball type cut

@TBartels1 i always wanted Chase to have an alternative look, it felt important to give her something that made her unique and memorable. alot of my attempts ended up too 'tank girl' or jack from mass effect. after looking at men hair styles from ancient china, i gave her spikes in the back
