While it doesn't look like much, the fade out effect is achieved by poking the #tic80 memory directly, which is what I set out to learn how to do. Woohoo! I totally deserve a cup of tea now. #indiedev
Completed the Portal/Door system for the engine today, had to rewrite it once, but it now takes in an area/door as a parameter and a custom teleport location so level design should be nice and straight forward. Event system next! #tic80#gamedev#indiedev
