I think the poses are really fun, dynamic, & expressive. That's why I requested them specifically (the artists all did an AMAZING job) & have zero regrets doing so. There was a "hot take" about a cartoon referencing stuff like this & I for one fully side with the animators.

So I Guess there's some controversy about referencing Sonic poses? I happen to really disagree with the idea they shouldn't be referenced: so much so that some works I've had commissioned were inspired by them.

I don't comment much on Sonic stuff nowadays, but I think Richard Elson's interpretations of the classic-era designs are really underappreciated in the grand scheme of things.
