Feels like games as a whole kinda lost their freedom. Look at Fang from Contra Hard Corps. He’s a werewolf wearing sunglasses with robot arms and one’s a machine gun. He’s a PLAYABLE CHARACTER directly involved in the story from the very start of the game. We lost so much to AAA
