For this funeral scene, I rip off the composition of the painting by Laurent Laugée, "enterrement d'une jeune fille à Etricourt". I just stumble upon it while searching for funeral reference of the period in country side, and was just perfect for what I needed.

I got inspired by Honoré Daumier's drawing for the style.
