Anyway this is now my Bahamut Lagoon screenshot thread so expect endless images of fancy sprites smothered in wibbly translucent overlays from here on out ^^~

(Which isn't to say that's not true of the others, but there's something about Bahamut Lagoon being so much its own thing, but still so very "Maximum Squaresoft", that's always caught my eye)

It's got that kind of special "excess" to it that only really comes from a company that wants to show off and actually has the talent to back it up

I think, for me, Bahamut Lagoon is the most "Squaresoft" SNES game of them all, above Chrono Trigger or Seiken Densetsu 3

(These are all from the Saturn version of the game - I don't know if the PS1 Final edition fixes anything)
