Received permission to share my #sepia #illustration for an upcoming #romance anthology. Finished within the beginning of this year, and now it’s half over already. Time is passing so quickly. I hear it speeds up as you age. My birthday’s in two months. Ahhhhhh!

I drew this last year and never got to return to it until this year.
When you look at this, how do you feel? Sympathetic? Hungry?
I feel the latter. I’m not sure how that reflects on me. Food colors do that to you. Unfortunately, my 1 piece for #mermay.

According to records of #mermaids living in the South China sea, they would weave a special silk called jiaoxiao and cry tears of pearls. What a fortune they would bring to whomever held them captive, such like a goose that lays golden eggs. #mermay is right around the corner.

Obviously past #MonthofLove by now, but a sequel to my first piece for “Lies”. Consider it a depiction of autonomy from past grievances.
