I look at Akane's design and can't help but be reminded of Hiyono. Though the two characters are quite different in terms of personality, and admittedly Akane came first.
Reading through how many articles CBR (I know) has on things "aging poorly", I feel like people are too obsessed with timelessness. Many times what makes something special is that it could only have come out at that time or that it captures a zeitgeist. There's value in that too.
Sometimes when things get too tense, it's important to take a step back and chill out. Don't let other people punk you into wasting your time on nonsense. It's something I fall into a lot, so I know how hard it can be, but it's still important to do sometimes.
This is such an epic time capsule of early 2000s otaku culture. I love it.
I think you are all forgetting the real big three. https://t.co/I2Bw9u3gFM
