We’re doing this for our semester final. We were allowed to choose our medium, so naturally I chose white pastel on black paper. 😁
The black pot is a bit too large. Just a tad. I’ll fix it on Wednesday.

@linkex92 Hello! I’m currently enrolled in Drawing I, and it is by far, the best art class I’ve taken. Next semester I’ll be in Sculpting, so that’ll be interesting for sure!

@Das_Kludi @SnowyAvis Heyo, I mostly do drawings. I think my white pastel on black paper artwork tends to be better than the normal mediums. Could be a result of my need for high contrast. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My Drawing professor, calls this project the Grandiose Mundane. It is turning out much better than I thought it would.
This was done over two three hour class periods. We still have one more class period to work on it.

Here’s what we did in Drawing class today. It’s not finished, I’ll finish it in class on Wednesday. White pastel on black paper.

Part of a still life the art professor had set up. When I draw, (especially with still life) I tend to only focus on a small portion of it. Even my perspective drawings are ‘zoomed in’ from my original position, a little.
