WIP for @AltJamesA 100 X's project, further exploring the combination of physical painting + digital collage/manipulation + digital painting... what do we think?

SUMA PINTA marked a new medium for my physical work: my first collection in acrylic (RHS), rather than oil (LHS), paint.
The spirit of the work and topics are the same, but I have been able to achieve even more movement, energy, and abstraction with acrylic.
i made this painting in december then never finished it and just put it aside and found it today and it’s actually quite good
For ALTARS, the layers use physical and digital painting, and digital manipulation.
A few select layers were also manipulated from images generated by images of my paintings I fed to @OpenAI DALL-E.
(🖼️:Handpainted canvas stripes for ALTARS)
i’ve used the same process with my other @KnownOrigin_io pieces, some of which, like this one also employ digital collage/layering of original oil paintings as part of the process
