3. Starting to switch to colour and mood

Every once in a while I make an environment warmup sketch instead of line drawing. This is to train painting skills and to try to speed up ✨

I never go rendering a piece without thumbnailing first, saves a lot of time later on and helps me to solve issues early in the process! What do you think?

This year I don't have the time to draw a lot of mermaids for #mermay so here's some from the past year! ✨

Ok I'M SORRY I skipped the first day of #mermay but it was my birthday and I spent it travelling back to the UK. I'm doing ok for the second day tho! #mermay2022
