In Filipino culture, pag mamano is a form of greeting to the elders as a sign of respect and request for a blessing. This is done by asking for permission to initiate the gesture and pressing the forehead on the elder’s hand.

Papaya is probably one of my favorite fruits! I remember when I was a kid we would pick it from our papaya trees in our backyard. I would usually have it in a cup mixed with milk, sugar and ice! Ahhh I surely miss the simple life at the province 🇵🇭✨
