The Ō'ō bird was a native species from Hawaii, known for their very distinctive songs.

The last one, a male, died in 1987, their extinction caused by the diseases carried by domestic animals introduced to Hawaii and habitat destruction.

Today I learned ⁦@SirKandiKitten⁩’s Fox Prince character is actually very tall! Had to draw him next to a very smol Alois for funsies ✨
