1997: my favorite game of all time (except maybe the remake trilogy? we’ll see once it wraps up), final fantasy vii. clearly i didn’t beat this at the ripe old age of one, but this was like, the first game i ever completed and comprehended in any way. it means a lot to me.

2000: jet set radio! mostly here because future got bumped out when i remembered it came out the same year as kingdom hearts, but it is still one of the Games of All Time, mostly for the soundtrack alone. also, cool mean goth girl who’s into skeletons

2004: sly 2: band of thieves

i think this might be the best ps2 game? like. of all of them. i had so much fun, it was so stylish and slick and interesting and it had a hot fox lady (who acab does apply to)

2007: the world ends with you. surprise! another nomura game!

this game really grabbed me from the second i popped it in my DS for the first time, every piece of it swirls together into such a weird and delightful experience. also this game probably started my pin obsession
