Yesterday and today painting!

I finished these dahlia paintings for @glyneth’s mom (they’re all her own flowers that she grew!) and got a chance to scan them in yesterday.❤️ Thanks for the chance to paint a bit of beauty.

I think this is 99% done, I’m going to look at all three with fresh eyes before I call them all finished though!

anyway this! flower is probably done or very close and I am done work for today

New purples arrived yesterday and I don’t usually go for gimmicky colours but look at this one: the granulation of one pigment and not the other makes them separate into pink and blue, it’s the best 😍😍

This painting is back to square one. I ordered a tube of purple I’m hoping will make it possible on the next shot. Anyway, the second drawing is better IMO.
