Commission work for @cryptidwarlock and his OC, Medeva Kinrios 🦋✨
@playcentermd Damn somehow this blew up
I guess I can talk about being an artist and working on my own Quake mod, Tomb Of Thunder
Commission work!
@SnakeYandere's Hifu rocket-jumps away from certain death, thankfully she had some armor left. Would've been *very* embarrassing if she had a Quad or no Armor ☠️
and yes I use Q1 aesthetics with Q3's RL, I was told to use that one

I just talked about it just moments ago but Id like to show that I may have found the reason I find my art flat, & its because of too thin lines & lack of thickness variation to convey both volume and shadows. (1/2)
@The_Hydroxian Looking at your art I think I have understood my overall dissatisfaction with my own art, because my overall goal is a simple yet effective technique, but my art always felt flat. Your stuff inspire me & I think I have found the key thru thicker lineart, I tried it here:
Okay this is probably a gut feeling, but I feel that both Contra Hard Corps and Metroid Fusion share the same sprite artist, with the amount of details for robotic, cyborgs, and biological monsters that most of the times take half the screen
I just think this is very neat
@khyu_ko @TheJackelop3 God same, it's something I first noticed in Detective Conan and it's an extremely good way of visualizing intense emotions
I keep comparing myself to other artists who can do sketches of whatever like it's nothing/do great illustrations while I overthink about what to draw and how to make them look good
I hate it, so so much, it kills my motivation and makes me doubt my own skills
