In the recently released Jim Davis: Garfield Sunday and Daily Strip Archive, there was a scrapped strip replaced with another for syndication finally released. In celebration, I colored it as well!

Concept art of Super Sonic from Sonic 2 colored and tweaked. Most likely the original was done by Yasushi Yamaguchi (pic on web was perspective corrected before tracing). Looks VERY similar to a certain Super Saiyan...

In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky, there's a Ditto in the Team Charm Special Episode that transforms into a Bellossum and Sentret to trick you. Closer observation shows it's eyes are more set apart and beady, with a wide smile. This seems to be a reference to the anime
