some of you young people might end up
living on the moon in giant glass igloos
no worries we'll be there too

Dear Journal ..
Some pigeons live ‘on the wrong side of the window’ in a human household
Myself I prefer to walk on the wild side
Who wants to sit on a sofa and watch TV all the time?
Dear Journal ..
I had a dream
I was in Charles Darwin's aviary
with other birds
they were pigeons alright
but all rather odd.
Suddenly the man himself came out
making clucking noises..
I couldn't blend in
I'm too drab.
He didn't mind though
He was on the sherry.
Dear Journal ..
Another day done in the land of blind windows and pitiless pavements
We got fed by a lady who looked very ill .. she leaned on a stick and seemed to like us
I’ll keep an eye out for her tomorrow
