Time for a mentee feature!
@WingBuffet is a joy to work with and has been making huge strides lately - can't wait to see his work on some Magic cards in the near future 🙏

All this Elden Ring hype made me want to share some of my #Soulsborne art 💀⚔️🌙

I originally painted this character floating above the mountain, lost in the music, before Cynthia reminded me that she didn't have flying 💀 I still love this comp so wanted to share it .

Also included the sketch card version (forgot I did this!)

From here it's just a case of painting! I initially liked the idea of her being surrounded by spooky risen cats, but we decided it was a bit too grim 💀 Cynthia really wanted this to be quite a light, fun card, so I really pushed that element :)

The brief:

Location: A swampy graveyard site
This is a 15-year-old who’s a rabid fan of the necromancer Liliana Vess. She wears costuming elements to look similar to Liliana and has a pin/brooch with her face on it. She's a true fan.
