The process was pretty simple: I drank a lot of whisky and tried to put my brain in a place I normally avoid like the plague. Definitely not recommended, but it did the trick.

It means a lot that people relate to the painting - I love you all ♥️

@LeeshaHannigan here are some details. I'll post sketches & WIPs below :)

with the maquette finished I could easily move it around and play with camera lenses in Modo to find a really nice composition, then simply sketched into it to find my design.

This process was super organic and satisfying and I love that I could potentially 3D print it!

A lot happened in 2019. I had a blast working on Humblewood, painted my first Magic land and Art Directed a Guild Wars 2 cinematic. I also painted a lot of cowboys 🤠
