Time for some artist appreciation! This is my buddy @johnderekmurphy's work - go give him some love, he's an amazing guy and far too talented.
Not sure if he's available for work but I'm sure you can reach out.

Hello! I have space this month to take on some illustration work - ideally a book cover or two but I'm open to offers. Drop me a line at paulscottcanavan@gmail.com
Here are some samples, you can see lots more over at https://t.co/PcKdHWQU0n
wanted to give a little shout out to my amazing girlfriend, @LeeshaHannigan. She's an astonishingly talented illustrator who works on D&D and I'm so proud of her.
Thanks for always inspiring me <3
my first Magic card was revealed today! I can't even describe how this feels as a lifelong fan and player.
Huge love to my AD, @SheppardArts and to Jeremy Jarvis for getting me the gig in the first place. I am very happy :)

my buddy @FrankWadeArt is on the look out for concept work, ideally in-house. He's based in Oklahoma and is a lovely, super-talented dude; would be a huge asset to any game studio.

I wanted to feature some of my partner's incredible work!
@LeeshaHannigan's paintings have always blown me away, but she's been making HUGE strides over the last year. These are just a few personal favourites.
I am a very lucky man.

and some more development art since it's fun to look back at :D
I focused a lot on silhouette design with big, bold shapes which would hopefully read well in different lighting conditions/distances. Here are some really early designs too, as well as some NPC doodles.
Here's the Tracker and Prince! I can't find the other two, so have some development art :3
I wrote a wee back story for each of these characters - wanted to create some people who wouldn't be out of place in the era (often drawing from real figures), but who were also COOL.
2016 pt.1 - this was a mad old year as I worked on an exciting game pitch (which, no, I cannot talk about), and on the game now known as Murderous Pursuits (@MurderPursuit), as well as the Dark Souls book You Died (@YouDiedBook). That surge of cool properties buoyed me.
