- In defeating Kjotve in Battle of Hafrsfjord, Harald made his rule Supreme!😏👑

🔲Deal w/ the Natives broke off. It was Vikings vs. Skraelings (Natives) now.

🔲Calamity of battle b/w the 2 parties led #Vikings to realize that there is no future for them in Vinland bc:

1. It's too far from Greenland(3k km away)

2. Required a lot of Resources.

🔲2nd attempt at Vinland Settlement was made by Leif's Sister, Freydis & her husband w/ a Norwegian commissioner.

🔲After settling a peaceful deal of goods exchanged w/ Natives, all was well. But, it broke off maybe bc of a rival tribe or food poisoning,it's not clear..
