post your sona / the animal they're based on

honestly the most I intentionally took from the okapi was the color scheme, I can remember struggling like hell for what to do before I settled on it
the big ears were a coincidence :v
@Demitsorou Congrats on 10k! And thanks for the art share opportunity!
I’m a burnt-out vet tech that does art when I can. I mostly do creatures, and sometimes I’ll draw humanoids or vaguely mechanical things.
@NightspinSfmt I suppose it couldn’t hurt to throw my idiot into the mix, but I’ll be looking forward to whoever you decide to draw in the end!
@Shrineheart had a birthday yesterday and on account of work being EXTRA intense this week, I didn't get started until yesterday and finished it today. but here it is, a quick portrait of her sona. happy birthday Shrine! 🎂 🎉
a random iPad sketch that turned into a "how much can I fluff this up" piece
featuring one of those cyclops Stranger things I can't stop doodling
#bugsona ! Over the years I’ve incorporated violin mantis themes into some fandom-sonas, but it was only a year ago I went and made a full-on sona unrelated to any fandom. They’re more... inspired by a violin mantis than specifically a violin mantis.
@MixterGlacia and I have been going ham creating Star Wars OCs/sonas over the past few months to interact with our faves
so I took Dryden Vos' flashy-face-markings race and made a sona for #TheMandalorian
they go by Santi and just want to take a damn nap
I'd like to thank @atrocityland for creating the Strangers and making it a thing for me to aimlessly doodle at work again (with the exception of that last one, which was an at-home aimless doodle)
(reposting bc I forgot the watermarks last time)
ref sheet commission for @SRylof of their robot bird character! first time doing a ref sheet as a commission, and while I was nervous at first I did have a lot of fun working with it.
