Enjoyed the first book in this series by French author @IsabelleBottier and illustrator Hélène Canac. Cassandra's life is experiencing big changes now that her mom is in love and ready for two families to blend together. She's also an animal physic ready to use her gift to help.
Another book from Spain. Author Tania García with the beautiful illustrations by Núria Aparicio. A book for children and parents to help be understanding when others are angry. A book to help with social emotional needs of children. (2/2)

I've been waiting to read the debut book by @Author_Cisneros and just finished it. Efrén's story is every child of undocumented parents who love their children so much they risk their lives everyday...son semillas. Gracias Ernesto por compartir Efrén con el mundo.
Yesterday's final WRAD author experience was with author @SusanSMTan and our third grade students @twinoakscoyotes. The students absolutely loved Dr. Tan's fun approach! Students asked some great questions and her answers touched many of our students. Thank you Susan & Cilla!
This month our school wide SJS focuses on justice. I just finished reading a graphic novel by @GeorgeTakei, @JustinEisinger & Steven Scott which would pair great with @cynthia_grady's book "Write to Me" for our upper grades. @twinoakscoyotes
Reads from last week. On Wednesday read Julia Alvarez's book about a Dominica Republic fable. Thursday, Matt De La Peña's book inspired by the movie Coco. Friday, Benjamin Alire Sáenz's book about a little dog named Sofie and the love of her owners. #HispanicHeritageMonth
Enjoyed both these books with my girls. One is about the beautiful relationship between a daughter & her handicapped father. The second about a granddaughter & grandfather's relationship. Thank you Nari Hong and Sylvia Liu for your stories.
