@ericsmithrocks @DanteMedema This always confuses me! When I teach on query letters I always include this pie chart to show how I've connected with my clients.
Queries are the biggest slice, followed by Twitter.
Conferences + referrals are itty bitty slices.
We have our monthly Martin Literary lunch meeting today which means I actually did my hair + makeup and felt that I needed to take a selfie to document it.
Looking forward to seeing you, @BrittSiess + @MartinLitMgmt! 💜
Hello Twitter please humor me as I share my thoughts about THE BEST LIES by @sarahlyu which I recently devoured.
First thought: Hot dang! This is a really riveting “whydunit" where you know whodunit right from the beginning, so now you're trying to figure out why they dun it!
I loved the unique POVs of these MG books—a parrot, a gorilla, an imaginary friend. Writing from a perspective like this is a tall order, but when a writer gets it right it can be breathtaking. I’d love to find an incredible MG novel with a unique narrator! ✨ #MSWL
I've found the following clients through #FaithPitch! I feel so lucky. We've worked on some pretty awesome books together, and have more in the works. 😍

Hello this is just a tweet to say that this quirky book made me crack up laughing. 🐸🥁

I love when clients send me new gorgeous art that makes for the *perfect* lock screen.
This magical snowy scene by my client Kitty Moss makes me very happy. (As does the story attached to it...! ✨)
