James Bingham appreciation post. So much story in his work. Great design guiding the eye. Great dramatic framing. All of it so well staged and thought out.
Frank Robbins. I love his comic book work. I know a lot of people don't. As a kid in the 70s, it didn't grab me. As an adult, I just can't stop looking at those brush strokes. His illustration work is quite different, and I wish there was more of it. Have a look:
It's Don McGregor's birthday, so I'm going to repost the Nathaniel Dusk tribute I did a couple years ago. This is 1 of 3
Happy #supermanday! Here is an old piece I still like. Pencil, ink wash and digital color based on a panel from Action#1 #superman #actioncomics #goldenagesuperman
It's been a very long time since I posted any work. Sadly this stuff is all old, but it's Superman Day. Nothing makes me feel better than drawing this guy. #supermanday
This week is the 30th anniversary of my first self publishing effort. I was too young and inexperienced to do it, but you couldn't tell me that back then. It was not a money maker, but it did launch my professional career, so I look back on it as a good experience.
My name's Adrien and I draw storyboards and a lot more. I can never show what I'm working on, so here is a variety of stuff that I actually got to finish. Boards are so fast and never to a level of finish I'm happy with. #portfolioday
