Break the Ice might be just the perfect event for a newbie to get into Arknights. Main stages are relatively easy, event story is isn't a follow-up to a previous event, and it gives a good taste of what the late Arknights writing is without having to go through early game.

Arknights storytelling loves the motif of songs and dances in the text: song of extinguished Winterwhisp, song of mighty Nightzmora, Skadi's hunter's song. Songs of people and countries once gone, but still lingering upon present.
It's a pity we can't actually hear all these.
