Persephone then entered Elysium, the city of the Blessed.
But the mortal souls still seem unhappy there.

✨ Here’s a quick story recap ✨
Persephone first met Athena, goddess of wisdom on her journey.

Just minted an edition of “Safe Space”, by @VanGoDoodle, February artist-in-residence at HUG/Meta Angels 💜
I feel like this illustration was made just for me, I can relate so much! Definitely my safe space is my art studio as well.
Persephone had sacrificed her human form to cross the Styx, but her body seems to be re-materializing? 🤔
Throwback to this Van Gogh tribute I painted, collected by @pandicioco on March 21, 2022.
Since then, I’ve found my own art style and have grown my following/communities, but I’ll never forget my earliest collectors 🥰

The owl flew across the infernal river with ease, amidst the angry cries of the Styx. Persephone understood what she needed to do.
“I will sacrifice my human form,” she said to the hungry Styx. Then, she disintegrated into a flutter of wings.
“Turn back, child,” said Athena once more, but Persephone stood firm. Something — or someone — was calling to her from beyond the Styx.
Seeing her resolve, Athena sighed. “We must part, but upon you I shall bestow the gift of Foresight. May you see through the darkness ahead.”
