Too many people don't understand that #MushokuTensei is a redemption story. It is about a broken, hopeless, flawed man who gets to rebuild himself, heal the injuries of his past and become a better person. He has a character arc, so he has to start at a low point in his life.
@Yamstarch Don't write off Accel World as being completely dead. Over the past 5 years there have been a bunch of series that got a new season that I thought were done, but got revived after a long hiatus.
