I interpreted the ‘Kiss the Girl’ dress in a way that’s more accurate to the time period that (i think) Disney is going for

And they say Ariel’s nightgown is more cream now which I think would look great on Halle!

so apparently Ariel will wear two ballgowns:
1.) the pink one will be worn at dinner with the royal family
2.) the green one will be worn at a ball where she will dance with eric

these are my interpretations of the ballgowns described in those scenes!
