The same mood to get a commission to illustrate a Goliath Barbarian that happens to be a sailor wielding a giant magic anchor as a battle axe they can throw to grapple opponents! This is very metal. I am excite.

The above piece is actually a re-paint of the following piece from 2016 and it ended up going in a much different direction.

Seeing the 2016 v 2021 progress side by side gives me a bit of a confidence boost!

Finished rendering most of the Arloni (placeholder for now) and then decided I wanted to sketch a different angle, which led me to try to figure out his skeletal structure. A pretty fun night!
