In relation to Mona, I believe the devs have chosen to draw inspiration from Hermes Trismegistus as he became an archetype that represented *the truth-seeker* - Mona’s definitive role and long-term goal in GI.
During 2.8’s GAA event, we received cutscenes of Kazuha’s, Xinyan’s, and Fischl’s backstories, depicting their younger selves, however for Mona, we got what (we supposed) was a visual allegory of her being a transparent bird turned into a star.
